Laser Squad for MiSTer

Installation

Extract the ZIP to the root of the MiSTer SD card. The files must be at:

    lasersquad/LaserSquad-mister-armv7
    Scripts/lasersquad.sh

CRT setup (Analog I/O board, 15 kHz)

Edit MiSTer.ini in the root of the SD card. Add or update these settings
in its [Menu] section. Create that section if it does not exist:

    [Menu]
    fb_terminal=2
    vga_scaler=0
    forced_scandoubler=0
    direct_video=0
    menu_pal=1

Use menu_pal=1 for PAL (50 Hz), or menu_pal=0 for NTSC (60 Hz).
Keep the cable and sync settings that already work with your CRT.
Save the file and reboot MiSTer.

Starting and controls

From MiSTer's main menu, open Scripts and run lasersquad.
If the CRT goes blank when the script starts, check the CRT settings above
and update MiSTer if needed.

In the game's main menu:
    K: Controls - select keyboard or controller and redefine controls.
    S: Options - select Spectrum/C64 graphics and turn sound on or off.

Window size and fullscreen options do not affect the MiSTer display.
Press Esc during play to open the game menu. To exit, select X: Exit Game,
then press a key at MiSTer's completion prompt to return to its menu.

Updating and saved games

Replace both the executable and Scripts/lasersquad.sh when updating.
Keep lasersquad_prefs.json, saves/ and scenarios/ in the lasersquad folder.
Controls and options are saved automatically in lasersquad_prefs.json.
